OK… I hate using the captions because it always adds the box around the images. I hadn’t thought about that not being present when using the [gallery] tag. I spent quite a bit of time getting it to display with my old theme, and they still appear nice, so that’s great!

I love the new theme’s simplicity and power… it really is powerful. Thank you.

Hi Jesse. The thumbnails generated by WordPress will be according to your settings in the Settings > Miscellaneous (at the bottom) menu. So that’s why the images are smaller than in the screenshot above, which uses the default settings.

Keep in mind, however, that Barthelme will scale your images to fit the width of the available content area in the window. So if your browser window is small (in Firefox, Safari, and Opera), the images will appear proportionally smaller.

Second, you have to specify a caption for each of the images. You can do this through the Manage > Media Library menu. Without the caption, you won’t get the nice little text below each image.

Sorry, I should explain… it does appear, but where do the comments come from and how can I move those plugins to below the navigation images? I LOVE the navigation images.

Is there something special that needs to be done to get that to appear this way? I’ve looked high and low and can’t find everything I need in one place, even the WP.org/codex
