An ideal WordPress user

A user of one of my themes contacts me for some help securing his blog. I provide a little help, and then he shares this solution with the community in a nice neat package. A short tale of a guy who, in my opinion, is an ideal WordPress user. It’s all about community.

Everything updated. Again.

Theme updates for WordPress 2.5. Before 2.5 is released. New features include support for get_avatar() and the new options menu design scheme. More importantly, the updated themes now utilize wp_nonce_field() for the highest level of security.

Help translate the Sandbox

Proper translation of the Sandbox begins. The theme has been localization-ready since its inception, but the initiative to get the files together never materialized—until now. So look for the Sandbox in your language.

Two-point-three updates

After a great trip from Delhi to Darjeeling to Kathmandu and back to New York, I spent a short time off updating my themes for WordPress 2.3. I’ve also kept the prior versions around for legacy WordPress 2.0.x users.
